Do I have to?
Oct. 31st, 2012 11:39 amEveryone on LJ seems to be convinced that LJ is doomed and that we need to migrate to DW. As an inveterate lurker and reader, I will follow the herd.
But it's all strange and scary and I don't speak the lingo. What is this 'add to my circle' thingy? I want to add all my familiar friends from LJ, but I don't want to make internets go boom.
Oh well, I'll get clicking and hopefully I'll soon feel at home here.

What colour is your rainbow
Nov. 4th, 2011 03:51 pmYour rainbow is shaded violet.
What is says about you: You are a creative person. You appreciate beauty and craftsmanship. You are patient and will keep trying to understand something until you've mastered it.

Letter to Santa
Jan. 13th, 2010 11:39 am![]() Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! In October I invaded Iraq, broke it, and couldn't glue it back together before Mom got home (-1012 points). Last Wednesday I committed genocide... Sorry about that, ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Overall, I've been naughty (-6181 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking! Sincerely, |
first post
May. 17th, 2004 12:16 pmI thought I'd already done this, but realised I delayed it to go on a quest for userpics/icons that proved fruitless. (That's what happens when you try to do this kind'o'thing at work - and probably richly deserved.) So I wrote all sorts of important sounding stuff that subsequently went the way of all flesh and now I have to do again.
Does bad karma happen when you set up an LJ for the purpose of reading other people's fic? My feeling is that it only does if you waste the opportunity to witter that LJ affords.
So, first post (at work again) and not much to say other than heigh-ho, it's Monday in Manchester, with a bit of sunshine and I'm wondering whether the weather (verbal infelicity right there!) will last until next week, when I actually go on holiday.
Probably not, but at least there's the whole no work thing. Sadly, this also means no internet, which is bad, bad, bad. But probably good for my eyeballs; by the time I get home I'm frazzled from all the glassy eyed staring at the computer that my job entails. Then I go online at home! Well, I never claimed to be a genius.
So, nothing of note to say, except, if you're not reading the Spanderfic from Rubywisp's 'thon, then you should be.....
